zig zag dress from eighthee seven RM45 | brogue flats from shoe story RM82 | boxy sling bag from lima puloh RM30
says who wearing black and white has to be all serious and solemn and boring? check out this quirkily printed dress with ambiguous line structures that goes all ziggy zag to vertical stripes! interesting, i'd say! pull up a japanese style knee high socks (your choice whether you want it in black or white), and pair with a brogue flats (oxford shoes), detailed with thin shoe lace, unique design with contrasting stitchings and swirl patterns. lastly, sling over a boxy black and white bag, and you have a basic black and white outfit but definitely no where near to 'boring' !
mesh with cut-out back dress from eighthee seven RM42 | black tote from nolitaa fairytales RM220 | old english oxford boots from shoe story RM84
here's another piece that i absolutely love. a black dress with sheer mesh shoulder top at the front, but turn to the back and whoah - a caged cut-out semi bare back! try going off the conventional trial of black heels, and opt for one of these vintage style english oxford boots, and match the look with this totally classy cartier inspired tote!
here's a really elegant piece from eighthee seven. a classy toga with beaded faux-rhinestones shoulder pad. best part - very figure flattering with all those flowy lush drapes! but they've sold out this one in black :( ...fret not though, you can go check out the ones restocked in electric blue :)
now that we're done with dresses, let's go to the shoes, which in case you haven't already noticed, i'm just totally in love with those brogue shoes - otherwise more known as oxford shoes.
emma watson | whitney port | rihanna | taylor swift | sienna miller
and what do these hollywood babes have in common? oxford shoes.
clockwise: aldo $90 | winners $130 | steve madden $61.90 | nine west $40 | aldo $55
it's not a wonder celebrities tend to swap their killer heels for a comfy pair of oxfords, and it's definitely a shoe trend this fall - my say - effortless stylish, vogue and flattering with a little hint of vintage goodness!
i like ALL! how!?
