Sweet Summer

floral top from tanks for 5 RM5 | rose tutu skirt from little paris dress bookRM49 | baby phat tote from sara.my RM260 | wood wedges from moonstruck closet RM80 | necklace from the aura gems RM20

what goes better than little summer floral prints with a ballerina-inspired tutu skirt? so sweet! i love the mesh layers and rose details on it! tote a playful floral bag from babyphat, the colors are simply refreshing against a white base of the bag! loving the bronzy gold necklace with charms of a pretty dress, sewing machine, korean faux charms and crystal! lastly, with all the summer-ry natural look, slip on these totally gorgeous rustic looking wood wedge with rope details. pretty!

Classic Red

this little red number has gotta be a treasure! it's really hard to find good-cut plain dresses, because when it is a minimalist dress, the cutting and the shape of it is extremely important, even down to the slightest detail of its hem finishing - and i love the look of this dress with it's slim waist belt, and the semi-tutu flair hem. the length of it is beautifully classy, not too short, just touching knee length. (and oh, i love it especially when tanned skin girls wear on chili red. they somehow just brings out the whole red-hot-mama look!) the python prada clutch is just what you need to have in your hands, and a mythical greek-goddess inspired leave ring on your finger fits right in the look. lastly, match in another classic black pumps, but with an edgy touch on this one with metal trimmed little tube beads at the side. gotta love this classic yet edgy dinner look that will surely have other girls admire in awe!

(best of all it's at a steal price of RM58!)

it's minimalist design is perfect if you wanna flaunt your accessories! grab a chunky necklace and make it as a centerpiece of your outfit - and i choose a red one to match with. alternately, you can match the whole look with a fiery red bag! but since my necklace is already red, i'll just play it down with a classic simple faux-snake skin clutch, and an elegant pair of black pumps. this is definitely a gala dinner look that can't go wrong!

Simply Alluring

spotted a totally drop-dead gorgeous tube dress! with mesh organza bandaged front with a hint of purplish pastel color, it's just totally sexy! if you've got a year-end annual dinner or xmas dinner coming up, you've gotta work that push-ups and crunches to fit in this killer dress!

a total combo combination, is this really unique headpiece as accessory - layered thin chains that you wear on your head! classily grecian, and i think it goes really well with the dress! with the headchain, you'd be better opting out other accessories on your neck or ears. if you have to, just choose a dainty minimal one 'cus you wouldn't wanna over accessories as the headchain itself is already a very heavy-looking piece.

polish up with a glittering silver diva dinner clutch, and not to forget, a pair of basic silver but sleek pumps.

The modernized fairy-tale look!

a chiffon with lace trimming dress in creamy beige - somehow the combination just gives me a very dreamy feel. like, vanilla! (haha dunno why, but it feels like vanilla!) ok so back to dress - love the off-shoulder cutting that adds in a hint of sexiness! glam up the dress even more with feminine touch with this really beautiful waist belt with rossete design. really unique, i'd say, not something you'll see around everyday, ey?

accessorize with this dainty little message in a bottle necklace - dreamy! (like i just said!), like, either you write a love note or your dream or whatever, and snuff it in the little bottle. and the bag, must of course "flow" with the dream - a starry little mini sling with a hint of exotic antique-ness in the design. like a night with a blanket of stars - really pretty!

as for the shoes, let's just keep it simple with a dreamy white plain mary-janes with some added elevated height. all girls need a pair of basic mary-jane pumps in either black or white.

and there you have a modernized fairy-tale princess look!

Sheer White Beauty!

with all the christmassy blings going around, this minimalist, immaculate all white tube dress sure caught my attention - and fell in love with it straight after! nothing matches it better with a a long vintage-ish mythical deer necklace, and a pair of thin strappy brown gladiator flats! or, go cultural ethnic and slip on these beautiful bangles details with oriental patterns, and a dainty beaded mini purse! really lovely ethnic pieces that gives an immediate boost of colors to the outfit.

now, how can not have the xmas look! like i said, i love this dress and no, you can't afford to spend xmas without it!

for those of you who are not so keen on wearing tubes, here's a tip - just wrap a scarf over your shoulders! and since it's xmas season, it's easy to just grab a pretty xmas scarf from any malls nearby. effortlessly fashionable! my xmas scarf is red, so it'll match it with a quilted bag with little tassels! and with the red, we can't miss out the green, (xmas color!), but ofcors, we don't wanna end up looking like a xmas tree! so, do it subtly - and this big green emerald ring does just the trick! classy! finish up with a strappy wedge that gives you some height, but comfy enough to last you through the party!

but as you can see, the tube dress is kinda see-through and sheer, and might be a no-no for some, especially when it comes to white. so all-white sheer dresses remain a-very-beautiful-but-i-can't-wear-white outfit. how sad! miss doodle is not gonna get it happen, cus it doesn't have to be that way!

here's some tips on how to wear sheer dresses without giving the public an inadvertent peep show -

1. wear an opaque bra and panties that match your skin tone. otherwise, praise heavens for nude bras and even silicon nipple pads!

these nude bras and nipple pads are skin-soft, natural and 100% re-susable with comfort assured. no more worries on visible bras!

2. choose a sheer dress that hangs loosely about your frame, you don't want visible traces of *ahem* love handles. *wink*

3. slip on inner skirts! opt for plain natural skin tone ones instead of with lacey details that might be traceable - which should be easily bought from any lingerie shops in malls

and i'm not with Real Nut Case just yet! this all-white crochet is BEAUTIFULLLLL with a capital B!

Going Sleek with Rompers!

a tube top minimalist romper/ jumpsuit in black detailed with subtle drapes at the front! i love minimalist one-pieces because it gives you more room to go wild on accessories! wrap around a chained skinny belt over for a more defined waistline. grab a striking red bag in contrast of your all black outfit - sexy! loving these studded cowboy ankle boots, a statement pair but not too loud or over exaggerated. and speaking of statement pieces, the chunky necklace is really distinctively unique - it's made of ribbon folded and twisted in silverish white! now, all you've gotta do, is to pose vogue!

here's more jumpsuits from The Summer's Attic - from formal designs to pull off at work to casual and comfy ones for a walk in the park! all stylish with clean, sleek cuts! i like!

The Pretty Maiden!

i've got 3 words for this dress - pretty, pretty, and pretty! striking contrast of bright pink on clean white, nice! match it with a special edition longchamp maroquinerie bag- classy! and i'd reckon that you wouldn't want a pink overdose, so i'd suggest you snuggle on a white cut-out wedge to accentuate more on the immaculate white feel. but i guess we can let a little more of red/ pink on the accessories - a rounded red button earring with a touch of gold, and i'm loving that charmed bracelet too! the whole looks gives a little vintage 'hairspray era' look even!

Simple Sophistication

this is definitely THE professional black dress for THE important presentation! an almost perfect looking cut - with vertically lined buttons from top to bottom that gives a very slimming effect at the front, frilled sleeves that adds femininity, sewn-in belt and a pencil skirt bottom that elongates your height. pair it with this beautiful quilted pumps! now, u've gotta match it with a bag that stands out, but in a classy way, so color is an important factor. i'd choose pastel royal purple with a silverish touch. and you don't wanna over accessorize as well, so just go with a simple touch slim bangles with a combination of silver and black. simple, smart and professional yet exudes with elegance!
