another classic comeback, the gypsy fashion has meandered on and off the catwalk runway since the 1960's. i personally am intrigue by the elusive and mysterious gypsy style, you know, living off the caravan and unpredictable adventures and all that jazz. how else to better reflect it than hand-making a tie-dye shirt yourself! you nvr how it'll turn out and you're nvr sure what you're gonna get! but either-or, the result is just fascinating with the palette of vibrant colors and twist and twirls of the dye!
handmade tiedye top from trotteuseonline RM54 | plain black tank from littlemisshearts09 RM8 | slashed tiedye jeggings from blackmilkproject RM27 | juicy couture fringed bag from neiman marcus $170 | chunky heels from mia from amazon $39.18 | bracelet from b-a-muse RM25 | necklace from b-a-muse RM49 | diy braided headband from miss doodle
totally love this d.i.y tie-dye top in bright sunny yellow and red! but one thing to bear in mind, overdoing the gypsy style might cause you looking like a circus fortuneteller. *gasp*! so if you wanna get it right, go for a contemporary approach and i suggest rugged gypsy!
layer the sleeveless flared out top with a long black tank top, and it instantly lifts up the contemporary look, especially racer-back ones. match with a slashed tie-dye jeggings - one word: edgy!
now, the bag. stick back to the suede gypsy frills but tone it down to earthly colors of chocolatey or greenish-forestey, as earth and fauna tones are very gypsy as well without looking like a clown. Now not to forget, we've gotta have the infamous gypsy symbol - the peace sign! check out this earth brown pair of chunky heels, detailed with a gold exposed zipper and a peace charm!
and this set of bracelet and necklace is just the Perfecto combination with a capital "P"! a hint of gold classiness with tasteful charms, and i'm loving that rope combi and frills that adds in an earthly feel!
lastly, my personal favorite. the headband! i'm not gonna dig from any store, instead, i'm gonna use some crap cloth with matching colors, and braid 'em together! braid a long one so that it falls over to shoulder, and just tie it over your forehead! handmade personally baybeh! all geared up to rawk the gypsy downtown!
